庞嵚,现任Benoy公司董事,上海办公室负责人,设计总监。在他近30年的建筑专业实践中,努力探索着建筑与社会及自然的关系,并希望在大量的工程及设计项目里,从不同尺度,不同层级上寻找建筑的综合解决思路。在职业建筑师之外,庞嵚也积极参与建筑教育和专业协会的学术交流,历任高等学校的讲师及客座教授等社会职务。

QinPang, a Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Nottingham, isDirector at Benoy, head of the Shanghai Studio, Design Director, and a councilmember of the China Commercial Real Estate Association. In his over two decadesof professional experience across the globe, Qin is trying to explore therelationships between architecture, society and nature, and hopes to look forthe comprehensive solution of the mixed-use from different scales and levels ina large number of developments and design projects. In addition to being aprofessional architect, Qin has also actively participated in the academicexchanges of architectural education and professional associations, and servedas a lecturer and visiting professor in colleges and universities.



城市再生宣言


城市也像自然界一样,随时在主动被动的调整进化。在一些城市空间的阶段性功能满足完成后,可能暂时无法适应新的城市功能需求,大手术式替换和针灸式小调整更新都是方式,都有合理性,唯一不合理的是只强调其中一种方式而摒弃另一种。城市空间要和他所处时代的生活平等对话,共生共荣,没有仰视俯视。唯有实事求是,客观分析,因病施方,才是真正科学的城市更新思路。

Cities,like the natural world, adjust and evolve either actively or passively at anytime. After the completion of the phased functions of some urban spaces, theymay not be able to adapt to the new functional needs of the city at that time.Both major surgical methods and the minor adjustment and renewal of acupunctureand moxibustion are both reasonable, and the only unreasonable thing is toemphasize only one of them while abandoning the other. The urban space shouldhave an equal dialogue with the life of the times in which it lives,co-existence and common prosperity, without looking up or down. Only by seekingtruth from the facts, by objective analysis and treatment due to disease do we come upon thereal scientific ideas of urban renewal.



城市再生项目代表

摩士达商厦

Benoy已将摩士达大厦这一拥有近百年历史的建筑改造成为以餐饮为核心,集合生态有机食品体验、食品主题零售和一流精品酒店为一体的世界顶级城市综合体。该项目包括一栋地上5层购物中心与3层地下室,与原酒店各层对应联通。

通过在传统的陶瓷材料中引入模块韵律,我们致力于营造这条街区的建筑风格所传达出的独特的城市文化肌理,既能突显上海现代商业的蓬勃发展,又能反映这座城市悠久的历史文化。在室内空间设计方面,我们尽量通过截然不同的空间体验展示商业的迅速创新。为了打造与埃舍尔作品无限循环相类似的空间感,我们运用了一个悬浮盒子,从而打破我们对日益同质化的商业中庭空间的认知。

我们将现代的技术与传统的设计风格相结合,在保留这座建筑原有历史风韵的同时,融入当代的建筑技术。

Benoy transforms MOSTA Plaza from a heritage site built nearly 100 years ago into a world-classurban complex, with a strong focus on F&B, including organic food experiences,food-themed retail, and a high-end boutique hotel. The site will incorporate a five-storeyshopping mall, with an additional three subterranean floors linking to theoriginal hotel.

By using the rhythm of modular control combined with traditionalceramic materials, we tried to create a unique urban texture thatintegrates modern business development and the long history of Shanghai, all ofwhich are imprinted in the form of architectural expression on this street. Inthe design of interior space, we tried to represent rapid business innovationthrough a distinct spatial experience. A floating box is used tocreate a sense of space similar to the infinite roaming in Escher’spaintings, in order to break the increasingly homogenized commercial atrium space.

We integrated new and old to preserve the location’sheritage and contemporary architectural technology surrounding traditional ArtDeco design.





上海市黄浦区金陵东路片区城市复兴项目

Benoy从2017年便开始了对这片区域的研究,并受不同业主的委托,对金陵东路片区10个重点地块(街坊)的城市复兴陆续进行了重新定义,希望赋予老城片区以新活力、新格局、新产业和新面貌,更好的服务新时代的新的城市需求。

基地周边和自身的历史文化、景观和交通等各类资源赋予了此项目地块得天独厚的优势。也正因为这些独特优势,在对该地区规划设计改造升级的同时,首要的是对现状表达尊重,整体保护该地区空间肌理、街巷尺度、历史建筑和公共环境,并依照未来发展对区域进行全面提升。

Benoy团队的设计方案以“城市森林”为概念,从 “混合气质、粘性空间、立体网络”这三个层面来阐述现代人类寄托和共栖的“城市森林”方案,并植入五个主题分区畅想未来街道场景:“里弄记忆”,“海派风情”,“精品酒店艺术廊”,“格调艺术片区”,“多元潮流街区”。



Benoy has been researching this area since 2017 and, at the request of various business owners, has successively redefined the urban regeneration of 10 key sites in the Jinling East Road area. The aim has been to give the old town area a new vitality, new structure, new industries and a new appearance to better serve modern urban needs.

The local history, culture, setting, transportation and other resources provide the project area with many unique advantages. And it is precisely because of these advantages that all planning, design and development must respect and protect the spatial texture, streets and lanes, historical buildings and public environment of the area as a whole. The project must also upgrade the overall area in line with its expected future growth and development.

The Benoy team’s design programme is based on an ‘urban forest’ concept., and has expounded this ‘urban forest’ theme, in which modern man survives and cohabitates, on three levels: mixed character, sticky space, and three-dimensional networks. Meanwhile, it also incorporates five separate themes: Local Lane Memories, Shanghai Style, Boutique Hotel Art Gallery, Style and Art Area, and Fashion Variety Block.








宁波德记巷历史文化街区改造项目

中国宁波




在宁波市中心,沿着老外滩向北,是德记巷历史文化街区,是宁波市现存的较大规模的石库门历史建筑群之一。Benoy获委任为此区域提供设计方案,旨在保护修复古建筑的同时,赋予其商业价值。场地内现存有大量不同历史阶段的古建筑和街巷。新的建筑规划肩负同时满足保护与活化历史街区的责任。

本案面临着历史保留街区的局限性的问题,通过对街道的分层处理,设计不同的活动广场,引入二层的商业连廊等处理方式打开场地空间,促进商业流动,满足商业空间需求的同时保留场地历史感,增添空间趣味性。谨慎的在历史建筑群中增添新建筑是本次规划的特色之一。‘和而不同,和谐共生’的设计理念使得原本建筑面貌的得到了极大的保留与展现。

新建筑的设计大范围的提取并利用了原本建筑的建筑语言,通过现代的建造方式,重新诠释满足商业需求的新时代下的‘石库门’建筑,与旧建筑相辅相成。

Ningbo Deji Historic Street Regeneration Project is a comprehensive,modernized rebuild for the traditional Chinese Shikumen building type, locatedin Deji Lane in Ningbo, China. Deji Lane is home to dozens of traditionalShikumen style buildings in various heritage conditions and as well as severalhistoric lanes, which date back to the Republic of China era. The regenerationaims to emphasize the historic texture of Deji Lane and the essence of NingboShikumen culture. Through integrated protection, renovation and construction,the traditional and new buildings complement each other and co-exist inharmony. This historical and cultural treasure of the city is reactivated as a newcommercial landmark of Ningbo.

The design challenges are varied and complex. The traditionalShikumen buildings must be repaired thoughtfully to transform them for newneeds, while the new buildings also play a part in protecting andrevitalizing the entire historic district. Balancing the commercial needs ofthe new era and the preservation of heritage buildings has become the keyanswer to the challenge.

Thenew building planning revitalizes the texture and characteristics of thehistoric Shikumen buildings of Ningbo, and applies a modern sustainable designlanguage via the use of various materials such as bricks, wood and bamboo.
