2001年12月，中国加入WTO正式成为世贸组织成员，建筑设计从此融入了国际贸易市场。吸引着全球优秀的境外建筑设计公司在境内设立企业，数量远远超过入世之前的企业数量。时隔2年，2003年房地产业作为"支柱产业"的地位正式被国家确定。“黄金十年”的飞跃式发展，推动者中国城市的发展建设。其中，具有建筑学背景的城市开发者和建筑师们，在开放和充满机遇的舞台上实现着梦想和抱负，更是承担着重要的社会责任和使命。
In December 2001, China's accession to the WTO marked its formal entry into the global trade arena, integrating architectural design into the international market. This pivotal moment attracted numerous renowned foreign architectural firms to establish enterprises within the country, far exceeding pre-WTO levels. Two years later, in 2003, the real estate industry was officially designated as the "pillar industry" by the state. The ensuing "Golden Decade" witnessed a leap-forward development, propelling China's urban development and construction. Urban developers and architects with backgrounds in architecture seized opportunities on this open stage to fulfill dreams and aspirations, while also shouldering significant social responsibilities and missions.

2014年，房地产业宣告告别高歌猛进的“黄金时代”，正式步入“白银时代”。“设计创造价值”真正得到业界、大众的更多关注。
In 2014, the real estate industry bid farewell to the rapid development of the "Golden Age" and formally entered the "Silver Age", "Design creates value" has gained more attention from the industry and the public.
2014年，地建师正式成立。「CREDAWARD地产设计大奖」经过为期1年的筹备后，正式以“源于中国、面向世界的”的姿态，邀请全球范围的优秀项目参与，传播前沿设计理念、引领未来城市发展之路，促进社会可持续发展。
In 2014, DJSER was officially established. After a year of preparation, with the attitude of “ORIGINED IN CHINA – FOR THE WORLD”, “CREDAWARD” invites worldwide outstanding projects. CREDAWARD disseminates cutting-edge design concepts, leads the future path of urban development, and contributes to sustainable social development.
「CREDAWARD地产设计大奖」邀请海内外顶尖学术专家和中国TOP级具有建筑学背景的城市开发者组成评委团，秉承“建筑审美、环境优先、用户体验、经济效益”16字评价标准。十年来，坚持严谨的评选流程、公开的评选模式、严苛的获奖机制，被业内誉为“最具公信力大奖之一”，并成为业主寻找优质设计公司的重要途径。
CREDAWARD invites top academic experts from both within China and abroad, as well as China’s top-tier urban developers with a background in architecture, to form its panel of judges. The award adheres to the evaluation criteria of “architectural aesthetics, environmental priority, user experience, and economic efficiency.” Over the past decade, CREDAWARD has maintained its rigorous selection process, an open and transparent selection mode, and strict award mechanisms, CREDAWARD is widely regarded in the industry as one of “the most credible awards” and has become the important way for project owners to find a quality design firm.
历经十年，「CREDAWARD地产设计大奖」以实际行动践行其国际性、时代性、使命感。参与项目从地产项目多元化发展为：除居住项目/示范区，更多未来（方案）项目、城市再生/旧改、城市基础设施、博物馆/图书馆/体育场馆等社会公共类项目参与，综合商办类项目依然是主旋律：TOD/综合体/办公写字楼/企业总部/产业园/购物中心/商业/酒店等。相比上一届，城市再生/旧改、社会公共类项目呈上升趋势。参与项目设计类型：规划设计、建筑设计、景观设计、室内设计、照明设计。组委会于2024年，正式确定奖项更名为「CREDAWARD地建师设计大奖」。
Over the past decade, CREDAWARD practices its internationality, contemporaneity, and sense of mission through practical actions. The participation in projects has diversified from real estate projects to other categories. Except residential projects/demonstration areas, more future (concept) projects, urban regeneration/redevelopment, urban infrastructure, public facilities such as museums/libraries/sports stadiums participated in the award. The participation level in comprehensive commercial projects remain predominant: TOD/mixed-use/office/corporate headquarters/industrial parks/shopping malls/commercial/hotels, etc. Compared to the previous edition, the participation of urban regeneration/renovation and social public projects increased. In 2024, the organizing committee officially renamed the award as “CREDAWARD 地建师设计大奖”.
「CREDAWARD地建师设计大奖」十年间，共计邀请到26个国家和地区的海内外设计机构与9,147份作品参赛。作为业内公认的国际性大奖，将继续秉承“建筑审美、环境优先、用户体验、经济效益”16字评价标准。坚持严谨的评选流程、公开的评选模式、严苛的获奖机制，继续推动社会可持续发展。
CREDAWARD has invited top design agencies from 26 countries and regions with a total of 9,147 entries. As an internationally award recognized by the industry, CREDAWARD adheres to the evaluation criteria of “architectural aesthetics, environmental priority, user experience, and economic efficiency.” CREDAWARD maintains the rigorous selection process, an open and transparent selection mode, and strict award mechanisms, contributes to sustainable social development.
第十届「CREDAWARD地建师设计大奖」获得国内外顶级学术支持力量：曼彻斯特建筑学院（英国）、加泰罗尼亚理工大学（西班牙）。
10TH CREDAWARD has invited Manchester School of Architecture (UK), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (ES) as the Academic Support.
第十届「CREDAWARD地建师设计大奖」收到312家机构申报的746份作品，参赛公司及作品分别来自：澳大利亚，奥地利，阿塞拜疆，比利时，加拿大，中国，法国，德国，意大利，日本，挪威，菲律宾，卡塔尔，沙特阿拉伯，新加坡，韩国，西班牙，瑞士，泰国，阿拉伯联合酋长国，英国，美国，越南（顺序按照国别英文首字母排序）。
10TH CREDAWARD received submissions from 312 companies with a total of 746 entries. Participating companies and works come from: Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam (Ordered by the Alphabetical Order of Country Name in English).
